I think pages works with scrivener and I know I should be in the cloud with my references. But, yes the juggernaut got underway before the cloud came into its own, so catch up time after the big one is done and dusted.

Nic Kocher came in yesterday and ran a time-lapse workshop for the PROD studio.
Examples:
His commercial stock time lapse work on pond 5 (search Kocher) Still photos got doused by istock so he has moved to time-based stock material (mainly short time-lapse works) and says it is early days ie infancy for the moment so getting returns.
keithloutit.com time lapse works using a tilt lens and also shot as a story with numerous scenes. Beached example on Vimeo. I found it interesting to see time-lapse used to construct a story, this I like rather than the classic flower blooming type use of time-lapse.
Another example shown was a work that uses a morphing technique in post (interloping).

Techniques:
Time-lapse in this process aims for HD quality at the video end. The lowest frame size in most digital SLR cameras meets the 1920 width of HD. So, no need to shoot in RAW just jpg usually at the lower frames size setting on most SLR cameras. The flexiability and quality of photography offers much more recording potential than standard video even HD. Long exposures (night shooting); depth of field; motion etc.
Need to use manual lenses because you do not want to get auto-focus flicker due to the aperture re-adjusting back to full open all the time. Olympus manual lens are good and you can grab them off ebay along with an adaptor for a canon, for example. The adaptor should be manual only, no auto features connected to the camera. Remote timers can be picked up off ebay to and even the cheaper copies work fine.
(HDR) High dynamic range photography which is 2-3 varying stops within split seconds of each other to create a hyper real effect and great for capturing detail in shots that would normally be effected bu contrast etc. The 3 different stops are combined into one shot using layers in photoshop. This is the second person who has come in and is big on video in PS – the interface combines after effects functions in the timeline and uses instances which makes RAM playback not so much of an issue.
Hardware notes:
Point and shoot cameras can also be used for time-lapse but do not get such a good depth of field. Camera Hackers Development Kit (CHDK) free software can be downloaded and added to a point and shoot camera to get a lot of extra varied functionality. From CHDK in brief page:
